    Kitimat River Provincial Park
    Protecting an old-growth Sitka spruce forest, the Kitimat River Provincial Park is located north of Kitimat on Highway 37. Recreational opportunities include backcountry camping (no facilities), fishing and hunting.

    Coghlin Park
    Coghlin Park is found at the entrance to Kitimat and offers a picnic area and a viewpoint offering views of the town, the Coastal Mountains, Minette Bay and the Douglas Channel.

    Kitlope Heritage Conservancy
    Accessible only by boat or plane, the Kitlope Heritage Conservancy contains the world's largest coastal temperate rain forest. The park has trees over 800 years old and is home to a host of wildlife including bear, moose, eagles and sea life. Facilities are limited to backcountry campsites.

    Centennial Park - Kitimat
